A Professional Home Inspection is an unbiased visual inspection of the condition of the structure and systems of the home.
CSRA Home Services provides a summary report which will detail specifics about the property and points out any areas of concern should they exist. Typically, an item which could pose a fire, health or safety issue - if they are visually apparent at the time of inspection - will be noted in the report.
Depending on the size of the house, the inspection process could take between one and four hours to complete. We encourage our client's to be present during the inspection and to ask as many questions as you would like. Your presence will also allow the inspector to point out important parts of the systems and construction of the home.
CSRA Home Services will identify and inspect all the structural elements and systems of the home, including:
- Roof and attic1
- Foundation and basement/crawlspace1
- Exterior siding
- Interior walls
- Electrical system
- Plumbing system
- Heating and air conditioning systems2
- Kitchen appliances3
- Bathrooms
When the inspection is complete, we will tell you of any problems that may have been discovered. We will also tell you about some routine maintenance that should be done and give you plenty of opportunity to ask more questions. CSRA Home Services will also provide you with the full written report, including photographs, of the inspection.
